A copy of Thomas Holland's Pension application obtained from Washington D. C. indicates that he was in the Battle of Kettle Creek and the Siege of Ninety-Six.

There were two Thomas Holland's from South Carolina in the Revolutionary War. One Thomas Holland was born 1762 and served under General Francis Marion.

This Thomas Holland was born 1763 in Maryland and moved with his family to Old-Ninety -Six before 1770. He served all of his time under General Andrew Pickens. James King
