The brick or "Great Manor House" is constructed of red brick which were made at the site. The house is of the Greek Revival style and was built in 1869. At that time the plantation consisted of some 3,000 acres, mainly of cotton fields.
The home has survived in near original condition, with doors, mantels and plaster mostly original.
The rooms have been furnished with period pieces of furniture.
The brick kitchen is of the detached style connected by a breezeway. It has been furnished with period pieces.
