Warren County was formed in 1793 from parts of Burke, Columbia,
Washington and Wilkes counties
In 1857, Glascock County was created entirely from Warren County
Portions of Warren County were used to create Jefferson County (1796), Taliaferro County (1825), and McDuffie County (1870)
