Butler Church of the Nazarene
The Butler Church of the Nazarene was organized in October 1948 after a
ten day revival with Brother JIMMY FULLER of Nashville, Ga., as the
evangelist.
The Rev. FRANK BOHLER was called as the first pastor and remained for a
period of five years. Additional pastors were: Brother J.C. WHITENER,
Brother CHARLES CUNNINGHAM, Brother BERT WHEELER, Brother ROBERT AGNER,
Rev., HARTSELLE AMBURN, Brother HENRY MOORE, Brother JIM PRITCHETT, Rev.
BOHLER returned followed by Rev. JAMES DARCEY and Brother ED BISHOP.
