King – Hart
Yesterday afternoon at 2 o’clock was the time set apart for the marriage of Miss
Mattie Kate King and Mr. Thomas J. Hart, the event to take place at the home of
the bride’s mother, Mrs. M.E. King, at Box Springs, Rev. M.W. Flanders, of Mauk,
officiating. It is understood that they have or will go to Ashville, N.C.,
where they will spend two weeks, after which they will return to Howard to make
their future home. The bride is greatly admired by friends throughout this
section. She is a young lady of unusual charming personality. Mr. Hart is one
of the most prominent businessmen in the county and is deservedly popular. The
Herald joins other friends in extending congratulations and wishing them long,
useful and happy life.
