BASS BROS. TO McINTOSH BAPTIST CHURCH

                                                            This Indenture made this the 7th day of January in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Eight hundred and Eighty Five between Bass Bros. of the County of Spalding of the first part and McIntosh Baptist Church of the County of Spalding of the second part. Witnesseth that the said Bass Bros. for and in consideration of the sum of Five Dollars, cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained and sold & doth by these presents, remise, release, and forever quit claim to the said McIntosh Baptist Church heirs & assigns, all the right, title, interest, claim or demand the said Bass Bros., hath or may have had in and to One lot known as the McIntosh Baptist Church in fork of the McIntosh public road and the Fayetteville road, about four miles North West of Griffin, containing one and a quarter acres, more or less, with all the rights, members and appurtenances to said Bass Bros. land in anywise appertaining or belonging. To Have and to Hold the said lot of land to the said McIntosh Baptist Church so that neither the said Bass Bros. nor their heirs nor any other person or persons claiming under them shall at any time by any ways or means have claim or demand any right or title to the aforesaid lot of land or appurtenance & or any right thereof. In Testimony whereof the said Bass Bros. hath hereunto set their hands and affixed seals the day and year first above written.
