The Barefoot Confederate, written by Dixon Hollingsworth, base on the memiors of Henry Clay Wells,

tells of six Mock men all from the same family being in Company D, 47th GA Inf.

The roster from The Barefoot Confederate, lists Wilson C. Mock serving with Company D, 47th Georgia Infantry

 and does not list John P. Mock.  However, from other rosters of Company D, 47th Georgia Infantry that has been

 located, Wilson C. Mock is not listed, but John P. Mock is listed on that company roster.
