Crosby, 1858-1940, also born in Bradford Co., both are buried at Dedan Cemetery. Seaborn Bragg married a second time in 1868 to a widow, Nancy Surrency Clemons. She was born about 1840 in Ga. and died 24 Dec 1896, buried at Dedan Cemetery. She had two sons by Clemons, John Clemons b: about 1860 and Henry Clemons b: about 1861. The boys lived with Grandpa and Nancy until they grew up and moved to the Lake Butler, Union Co., Fla. area. Clarissa and Philip are my great-grandparents. My grandmother, their daughter, was Gertrude Crosby who married Raleigh J. Waters. Their daughter, Clarissa E. Waters married George W. Davis. I am their only daughter. They also have a son. My brother and I were born in a farmhouse near Brooker, delivered by my Grandmother Waters. I still live in Brooker. The information I am sharing comes from the cemetery stones, the family stories, Georgia and Florida census records, Grandmother Waters' Bible and various other things told to me or a cousin by our Great Aunts and Great Uncles. There were 12 of the Crosby children alive when I was born. They all talked about growing up across the woods from Grandpa Bragg's place (about 1/2 mile). All of us who were kids in the 1940s and 50s were lucky to have time with them and learn about our family. I am still collecting information on the girls' families as everyone scattered and their children lost touch with those of us who stayed put. I am sorry if I have run on too much. But, I did want the information corrected on Grandpa Seaborn and Grandma Elizabeth Bragg. The Crosby side of the family has been having family reunions since 1943. his great-greatgranddaughter, Barbara Sue Davis Crawford
