COMPANY B, 17th REGIMENT

Linda Davis is writing a regimental history of the 17th Georgia Infantry and would like to contact as many descendants of these soldiers and officers as possible so they can submit information to be included.
The book will include every mention of the 17th in the "War of the Rebellion Official Records" (also known as OR Vols).
It will include the battles of this regiment along with descriptive letters from some of the men, maps of battles, a complete roster, and a chapter devoted to genealogical material on each soldier.
Photos, diaries, pension claims, prison information, and burial data will be included as space permits.
