In the Superior Court of Oglethorpe County Georgia personally came and appeared Stephen W. Dermott who being duly sworn saith that it is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce forever all allegiance & fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever and particularly to his majesty the King of Great Britain of whom he is now a subject.
