Faye Lynn Booth Dyess

gracious lady, and she will be sorely missed.
 

Faye Lynn Booth Dyess, 59, died Friday, August 27, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital after a short illness.
She was born and lived most of her life in Savannah. Faye was a communicant of St. Frances Cabrini
Catholic Church. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Colonists, The National Society
of Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, United Daughters of the Confederacy, an honorary member of
the Daughters of the American Revolution Bonaventure Chapter and served on the State VIS Chair
for the Daughters of the American Revolution of Georgia, severed as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Bonaventure Historical Society, and was a member of the Savannah Women's Club. Her family was one of the founding families of the State of South Carolina. Survivors: her husband, James R. Dyess of Savannah, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Debora Dyess of Ft. Sill, OK; daughter, Stephanie D. Anderson of Savannah, GA; seven grandchildren, Chris tofer Dyess, Michael Ray Dyess, Melissa Dawn Dyess, Jamie Nicole Dyess, Brennen Keith Anderson, Laura Nicole Anderson, Natalie Grace Anderson. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Vigil Service: 7:00 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Chapel of the Hubert C. Baker Funeral Home with Monsignor Francis Nelson officiating. Burial: Bonaventure Cemetery.
