This list of lot numbers is APPROXIMATE, as interpreted from a map showing Districts and lot numbers.

Ref. 1 - PIKE COUNTY - 1822 - First Boundary Change of Monroe County.
Act of Dec. 9, 1822 Monroe County was divided at the center line of the Third, Seventh and Eleventh Districts using the western half to create Pike County. (Red center line on map).  All of Districts 1, 2, 8, 9, 10, 15 and District 3 Lots No. 1 thru 128.   District 7 Lots 1 thru 128; District 11 Lots 137 thru 272
 

Ref. 2 - Upson County - Act of Dec. 15, 1824 Pike was divided by taking all of the Tenth, and Fifteenth Districts: District 11 Lot Numbers 137 thru 181, 188 thru 204, and 222-272.  ". . . all that territory embraced by a line beginning at Flint river, in Crawford county, where the Auchumka creek enters      said  river, thence up said creek to the fork, thence on a straight line to the corner of Monroe and Pike counties, thence along the line dividing said counties to the district line of the eleventh and seventh districts formerly in Monroe thence west on said line to Flint river, thence down said river to the place of beginning . . . ."      On Dec. 10, 1825, the legislature returned the land north of Elkin's Creek in northwest Upson County to Pike County (Ga. Laws 1825, p. 60)."

 

Ref. 3 - SPALDING COUNTY....1851 ...Spalding County was created on Dec. 20, 1851, by an act of the General Assembly (Ga. Laws 1851-52, p. 58). Created from portions of Fayette, Henry, and Pike Counties, its original boundaries were specified as:  Lots from Pike County to Spalding County:  Dist. 1 - 1 thru 128; Dist 2 - 9 thru 24, 41 thru 56, 73 thru 88, 105 thru 120, 137 thru 152, 169 thru 184, 203 thru 216, 233 thru 248.   Dist. 3-    9 thru 24,   41 thru 45,  73 thru 88, 103 thru 120.    

 
Ref. 4. BUTTS COUNTY ....BUTTS 1825
Butts County was created by the General Assembly on Dec. 24, 1825 from portions of Henry and Monroe counties (Ga. Laws 1825, p. 63). Monroe was again divided by using the land North of Lot No. 139 in District 4 and 14 forming the South boundry of the lot and running Eastward until it crossed Sandy Creek, then down Sandy Creek to its confluence with the Ocmulgee River, consisting of lot numbers:   Dist. 4- Lots 9 thru 239;  Dist. 14 - Lots 7 - 16; 33 - 42; 49 - 58; 65 - 74; 81 - 90; 97 - 106, 113, 114, 115, 116, 119, 120, 121
