Georgia, Meriwether County
Know all men by these presents that we SEABORN G. TAYLOR   and MARY TAYLOR securities, are held and firmly bound unto David C. Gresham Ordinary in and for said County and his successors in office in the just and full sum of Fifteen hundred dollars for the payment of which sum to the said Ordinary and his successors in office we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators in the whole and for the whole sum jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dates this twelfth day of January 1857.

            The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound

SEABORN G. TAYLOR of said County who was this day appointed Guardian of the persons and property of WILLIAM P. TAYLOR, THOMAS J. and MARTHA TAYLOR minor and orphan children of REUBEN TAYLOR late of said County deceased he acknowledging of the same by the acceptance of said appointment and of Letters of Guardianship of this date, shall well and truly maintain clothe and educate said orphans according to their circumstances and shall take good and lawful care of their persons and property according to the laws of this State, and shall annually make a just and true return of all his acting, and doings therein unto the said Ordinary, then this obligation to be void; else to remain in full force.

            In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year above written.

            The condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound

SEABORN G. TAYLOR who was this day appointed Guardian of the persons and property of CATHERINE, FRANCES, EMELINE, ARDESA AND NARCISSA TAYLOR minor children of REUBEN TAYLOR deceased late of said County, he acknowledging the same by the acceptance of said appointment and of Letters of Guardianship of this date, shall well and truly maintain clothes and educate said orphans according to their circumstances and shall take good and lawful care of their persons, and properly according to the laws of this State and shall annually make a good and true return of all his actings and doings herein, unto the said Ordinary, then this obligation to be void, else to remain in full force.

            In Witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals the day and year above written.

KNOW all men by these presents that we SEABORN G. TAYLOR and JOHN N. TAYLOR, AMANDA TAYLOR, ELIZABETH TAYLOR, SARAH TAYLOR AND POLLY TAYLOR, securities are held and firmly bound with Davis C. Gresham, Ordinary in and for said County and his successors in Office, in the just and full sum of Nine Thousand dollars for the payment of which sum to the said Ordinary and his successors in office, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, in the whole for the whole sum jointly and severally, firmly, by these presents sealed with our seals and dated this third day of March 1856.

            The condition of the above obligations is such that if the above bound SEABORN G. TAYLOR, of said County who has this day been appointed Administrator of the goods, chattels and credits of REUBEN TAYLOR late of Meriwether County deceased, which have or shall come into the hands, possession or knowledge, of the said SEABORN G. TAYLOR the Administrator as aforesaid, or the hands, of any person or persons for him, and, the same, so made, do exhibit to the said Ordinary, when he shall be thereunto required and such goods, chattels, and credits do well and truly administer according to law, and do make a just and true account of his actings and doings therein, when he shall thereunto be legally required, And all the goods, chattels and credits, which shall be found remaining upon the account of the said Administrator, the same being first allowed by said Ordinary, shall deliver and pay to such person or persons respectively, as may be entitled to the same by law; and if it shall hereafter appear that any last Will and Testament was made by the Deceased and the same be proven before the said court of Ordinary, and the Executor obtain a certificate of the probate thereof, and said Administrator in such case, if required render and deliver up the said Letters of Administration, thus this obligation to be void, it is to remain in full force.
