Submitting Materials

For text documents, you can send any Plain Text (.txt) file, MS Word Document (.doc) or MS Word RTF (.rtf) files.  If you produce text files in any other format which can't be converted to Text, contact me and we may be able to work something out.

For lists of data in columns or tables, they usually work best in a spreadsheet format -- preferably Excel, or a format that can be converted to Excel, like Lotus or QuattroPro.

For scanned images, it is preferable to send JPEG or GIF images.  I would be able to accept other standard formats such as Bitmap (.bmp) or TIFF (.tif), but I would have to convert them to JPEG after receiving them.

If you have trouble with attachments with your e-mail program, you can snail-mail me a 3.5" disk or CD-ROM with your files on it.  Contact me for my address.

I can not use any items that are copied from books, periodicals, newsletters, etc. that are copyrighted unless I have the publisher's permission.

If you are having problems creating a gen-chart file or attaching a file, send me a note and maybe we can figure it out.  Or we can find someone who has the same programs and ask them for assistance.
