Mr. Roy Lee (Dip) Cronon, died Tuesday, (Oct 1
1985) in Kennestone Hospital, Marietta. Mr. Cronon was born
in Whitfield County, Aug 27, 1915, son of the late Issac
and Lela Stone Cronon. He was preceded in death by a son,
John Henry Cronon and daughter, Gladys Kerr.
Survivors include, his widow, Beulah McCollum Cronon; two sons, Paul and Roy Lee Cronon, Jr.; three
daughters, Emma Jo Robertson, Dimple Carr and Betty
Roland; a brother, Allen Cronon; two sisters, Opal Freeze and
Edith Lyons.
Interment was in the Campbell Cemetery on
Pleasant Hill Road, Ranger, Georgia.

1967, at 8:15 a.m. Mr. Cronon is survived by his wife, the
former Miss Iowa Mealor of Fairmount; three sons,
Alfred, Billy, and Acey Cronon; two sisters,
Mrs.Opal Freeze and Mrs.
Edith Lyons; four brothers, Lewis, Roy, Allen, and
Albert Cronon. Interment was in the Fairview Church of
God Cemetery, Oakman, Gordon County, Georgia.

Mrs. Iowa Mealer Cronon, 86, died Sunday, Nov. 15,
1998. She was born Jan.16, 1912, in Gordon County, daughter
of the late Aaron Mealer and Mary Reese Mealer. Preceded
in death by husband, Cecil R. Cronon, and son James
Alfred Cronon; two brothers, John Mealer and
Lendsey Mealer; four sisters, Emily Bennett, Annie
Belle Silvers, Mary Lou Knight, and Irene Goble;
and one grandson, Bobby Cronon.
Survivors include two sons, Acey and Billy
Cronon. Interment was in the Fairview Church of God
Cemetery, Oakman, Gordon County, Georgia.

Georgia.

December 28, 1971, at Gordon County Hospital. Born in Dawson
County, March 17, 1891, daughter of the late John
Henley and Nancy Cronan Cornett. Survived by two
daughters, Mrs. J. E. Petty and Mrs. Carlis Burns.
Interment was in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery, Ranger,
Gordon County, Georgia.

Mr. Millard J. Cronan, 68, died early
Tuesday morning (Oct. 13, 1970). He was born in Lumpkin
County and had been a resident of the Ranger Community for the
past 40 years.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. M. J.
Cronan; seven sons, Floyd, Dennis, Curtis, Newman,
Raymond, Lloyd, and Roy Cronon; three sisters,
Mrs. Mae Walker, Mrs. Henry Pack, and Mrs. Bob
Underwood; One half-sister, Mrs. Winford Morgan;
two half-brothers, Arthur Scroggins and Frank Cronan. Interment
was in the Fain Cemetery.

31, 1998, at Gordon Health Care. She was born on Jan. 9, 1905,
in Lumpkin County. Preceded in death by husband, Millard
Cronan; a son, Raymond Cronan, and a sister,
Arbell Perry. Survivors include six sons, Lloyd,
Newman, Dennis, Curtis, Floyd, and Roy Cronan;
brother, Edward Howell. Interment was in the Fain
Cemetery.
Additional Comments:
Lossie was adopted by the Seabolt family. Her
birth mother, Alice Howell.
