A. L. Cronan, age 79, passed away at his home Monday,
August 2, at 7 p.m. Survived by his wife, three daughters,
Mrs. Nora Lyons, of Marietta; Mrs. Johnnie Starkey,
of Adairsville; and Mrs. Jim Freeze, of Ranger; five
sons, Cecil, of Fairmount; Allen, of Sylvester;
Roy, of Adairsville; Albert, of Calhoun,
and John Lewis Cronan, of Springfield, LA; 27
grandchildren, 7 great- grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Max
Bright, of Gainesville, FL; four brothers, Bart
and Charley, of California; George and Nelson of
Chattanooga, TN. Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from
the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Interment was in the
adjoining cemetery.
