Surprise Marriage

Marion and Taylor county friends of Miss Lucile Fleming, daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. S.L. Fleming of Tazewell, formerly of Butler, will be interested to hear 
of her marriage, which occurred recently in Atlanta, the groom being Mr. Alfred 
J. Fouche, Jr.  The marriage came as a surprise to members of both families.

Mr. Fouche until a few years ago resided at McDonough but since leaving there 
has held a position in the Atlanta post office.

The bride was enroute to Milledgeville to resume school duties, but instead 
responded to a telegram from Mr. Fouche to meet him in Atlanta, where they were 
immediately married.
