May 1929 - Birthday Dinner

On Sunday May 12, 1929, the friends and relatives of Uncle George W. Owen met at his home and gave him a birthday dinner, it being his 85th birthday. Those present were:

From South Carolina: Charlie Lackey? and family, W.W. Hallman, Mrs. Lillie Nix

From New Holland: Mrs. Annie Maddox, her three sons and three daughters and their families.

From Oakwood: Jack Childers, Mrs. Alice Cantrell and daughter.

From Flowery Branch: S.M. Cain and wife, George Crow and family.

From Atlanta: Col. Clarence Cain

From Buford: Mr. Alton Lyles and family, Mr and Mrs. George Owen, Clyde Owen and wife, Cleo Owen and family.
