Miss Eva Joyce Trammell was born October 7, 1946 in Floyd County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Katherine Hill-Trammell and the late Walter Trammell.
She attended the Floyd County School System and graduated from Main High School. Miss Trammell was employed by the Fifth Avenue Nursing Home.
On Thursday - July 7, 1993 - Eva Joyce Trammell departed this life after a brief illness. She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her daughter, April D. Trammell of Rome; her mother, Mrs. Katherine Hill-Trammell of Rome; four brothers, Herbert Trammell, Randolph (Edna) Trammell of Rome, Walter Trammell (Delores) of Miami, Florida - Robert (Shirley) Monroe of Calhoun, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Irene Trammell of Calhoun; two great-aunts, Mrs. Rosa Clark and Ms. Louise Zimmerman; one great-uncle Charles (Skit) Zimmerman; two cousins, Ms. Theodore Downs and Ms. Willie Mae McCain all of Roem, Georgia. Two special nephews, William Donnell Trammell of Rome, Georgia and Donald Trammell, Jr., of Calhoun, Georgia; a special niece, Annette Trammell-Printup of Calhoun and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
