Donald Garnett Phillips, 56, of 5183 Big A Road, Douglasville, GA died Wednesday at a Cobb County hospital. Mr. Phillips was born in Floyd County, Feb. 2, 1940, son of the late Melvin Eugene Phillips and Maude Mildred (Dodson) Phillips He was a truck driver with Southeastern Freight Lines and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include: his wife, -still living..... Funeral services will be at noon Saturday at the chapel of Henderson and Sons Furneral Home with the Rev. Grady Watson and the Rev. Glenn Boatner officiating. Interment will be at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens
