Mildred T. Nichols

Mildred T. Nichols was 75 years young, a member of the Lake Creek Community in Cedartown, GA, and died on June 21, 2007, following a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Nichols was born March 11, 1932, daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Teems of Summerville, GA. Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by her husband, James Donald Nichols and a son, Clifton Dennis Nichols. Mrs. Nichols lived most of her life in Lake Creek, Cedartown, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Nichols was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her children, Jerry Nichols, Cedartown, GA, Judy Hutto, Cedartown, GA, Wanda Looney, Rome, GA and Brenda Smith, Tallapoosa, GA and many grandchildren. Mrs. Nichols is also survived by several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nichols will be at 2 . p.m. Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Wesley United Methodist Church, Reeseburg Spur and Drummond Road, Cedartown, GA, with the Rev. Nancy English, Ray Teems and Linda Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in the family plot at Oak Grove Cemetery, Cedartown, GA.
Mrs. Nichols will lie-in-state at the Oaknoll Chapel of Jennings Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends Saturday, June 23, 2007 from 6 until 8 p.m.
The following gentlemen are asked to serve as active pallbearers: Dennis Allen, Jamie Allen, Jason Nichols, Josh Nichols, Cory Smith and Jake Smith. Alternate pallbearers will be Johnny Smith and Larry Looney.
Funeral services for Mrs. Milded T. Nichols are under the direction of the Jennings Oaknoll Chapel Funeral Home.
