Mrs. Gresham

Mrs. Alline B. Gresham, 81, 2744 Chulio Road, died Wednesday morning at her residence.
A native of Floyd County, Mrs. Gresham was born July 23, 1911, daughter of the late Joseph Branton and Amanda Locklear Branton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lajoy Gresham, April 10, 1964, to whom she was married May 1, 1937. She had owned and operated Branton and Gresham Grovery for 68 years. She was a member of the Spring Creek Baptist Church and the Joy Club.
Survivors include; three daughters, Peggy Hill, Phyllis Hines and Joyce Johnson, all of Spring Creek; a brother, Clarence Branton, Spring Creek; a sister; Pearl Johnson, Spring Creek; four grandchildren, a great-grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Spring Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Adams, the Rev. Jack Mansfield and Parnick Jennigs Sr. officiating. Interment will be at the church cemetery.
