Mr. Thomas Brandon Epps, Sr., age 74, died Saturday, November 6, 1999 in his home after an extended illness. Mr. Epps was born February 14, 1925 in Cedartown. He served for 26 years in the Marines and fought in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam Conflict. He is survived by his wife, Lorene Bryant Epps; three children, Thomas Brandon Epps, Jr., Denise Lor Epps and Josie Belinda Epps; and nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Hahira United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Hurley officiating. Burial followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Pavo. Memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia Foundation or to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Martin-McLane Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
