Cedartown. Willard Warner Arrington, 86, of Cedartown, died Thursday morning after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. (E.S.T.) at Arrington Chapel Methodist Church in Cherokee County, Ala., with the Rev. Amos Adams, the Rev. O.L. Stokes and the Rev. Ernest Thompson officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Willard W. Arrington Dies; Services Saturday
Mr. Arrington was a member of the Arrington Chapel Methodist Church and was a retired farmer. He had spent most of his life in Cherokee County. Mr. Arrington was married to the former Lou Johnson, who preceded him in death in 1938.
Surviving are four sons, W.T., of Bradenton, Fla., Homer of Esom Hill, Johnny of Rome, J.A. of Bradenton, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Kate White of Cedartown, Mrs. Edna Dempsey of Cartersville, Mrs. Jewell Tuck, Cedartown; one brother, Charles of Palestine, Ala., one sister Mrs. John Mercer of Anniston, Ala.. Twenty-three grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.
Pallbearers include Herschell Arrington, Bobby Arrington, Joe Arrington, Phil Tuck, Comer White.
