NEWSPAPER Issue of Friday, JANUARY 4, 1878
Mr. "Brit" Reggins of Fayette county, having rented the dwelling and store of
Mr. Joel Phillips, is going in to the grocery business. Mr. Phillips goes to
Cedartown where we learn is going into business there. We wish him success.

GEORGIA, Carroll County
Edmund Seagraves, guardian of Joseph D. Reeves and Celestia T. Reeves, minor
orphans of Alexander Reeves, deceased, has applied for leave to sell two
acres of land, more or less, in the Sixth District of Fayette county,
Georgia, belonging to said estate. All persons concerned are hereby notified
to file their objections, if any they have, on or by the first Monday in
October next, else leave to sell will be granted at said term. This Aug. 25,

NEIGHBORHOOD News
The Turin correspondent of the Newnan Herald says that he recently had the
pleasure of talking with a lady who is now 110 years old. Mrs. Whatley, near
Starr's Mill is the lady referred to.
