Excerpt from Family Bible owned by Dr. Andrew Todd, who purchased the Bible from Sarah Gray, the widow.

In an old Bible, we find on the fly-leaf, "Andrew Todd" his Bible. Bought from Sarah Gray. Had it rebound in Columbia, So. Carolina, "1826".
This Bible was printed in London, England, by Chas. Bell & the executor of Thomas Newcomb, now Deceased. Printers to the King, most excellent majesty. Annodomo 1698.
This is written therein:
Nathan Todd died Dec. 9, 1828.
Abraham Gray, son of Isaac & Mary Gray, born Mar. 14, 1746.
His mother, deceased, Sunday evening, Dec. 4, 1768
His father, deceased, Sunday about 2 p.m. April 6, 1790
Abraham Gray departed this life Saturday Dec. 20, 1790.
A true account of the ages of the children of Wm. & Sarah Gray.
Lyndia, daughter, born Sunday, 2nd day of May 1784
Isaac, son, born 27th day of Sept. 1785
, son, born 3rd day of Oct. 1787
Abraham, son, born 1st day of Feb. 1790
Mary, daughter, born 11th day of Mar. 1793
John, son, born 23rd day of Mar. 1795.
