Terrell Ford Family Cemetery Inscriptions DeKalb County, GA TERRELL - FORD FAMILY CEMETERY DEKALB CO. GA This cemetery is behind a house near the intersection of Cloverdale Dr and Oakfield Dr. These roads are off Flat Shoals Rd near the intersection of Flat Shoals and Bouldercrest. The cemetery is not visible from the road. When Franklin Garrett first visited this cemetery in 1931 he noted it had fallen into disuse with only field stones to mark the graves. There was and is a stone wall around some of the graves. Only two graves are visible now. Garrett noted numerous graves marked with field stones head and foot and that several slaves of the Terrell and Ford families were buried there. The following are the names Mr Garrett was given as being some of the people buried there: Carlisle, Mr & Mrs Ford, Coleman Ford, Coleman, Mrs Terrell, William Thurman, Coleman The last interments appear to have been around 1880.
