MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 1931 W. C. HUDDLESTON DIES AT DAUGHTER'S HOME W. C. Huddleston, 88, widely known citizen of Atlanta, died at 9:30 o'clock Saturday night at the of his daughter, Mrs. B. Lee Smith, 952 Peachtree street, N. E. Death came after several years of feeble health. Mr. Huddleston came to Atlanta from Gastonia, N. C., in 1855 and for several years was a member of this composing room staff of The Constitution. He was widely known in publishing circles and was a member of Atlanta Typographical Union No. 48. Among his survivors is one of Atlanta's best-known advertising men, Press Huddleston, his son. The body was carried to Spring Hill chapel and funeral services will be held there at 2o'clock Monday afternoon with Rev. S. S. Daughtry, pastor of Westminster Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment will be in West View. Surviving him are three daughters, Mrs. Smith of Atlanta, the mother of Mugsy Smith, well known to hundreds of sport followers here; Mrs. C. V. Everett, of Dallas, Texas; Mrs. C. H. Holt, of Princeton, N. C. ; three sons, Press, Alea and Hurbert (Hub) Huddleston, all of Atlanta. ATLANTA JOURNAL Atlanta, Georgia November 23, 1931 W. C. HUDDLESTON LAST RITES TODAY Funeral services for W. C. Huddleston, of 952 Peachtree street, who died Saturday, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from Spring Hill. The Rev. S. S. Doughtry will officiate. Interment will be in West View Cemetery with H. M. Patterson & Sons in charge. Mr. Huddleston is survived by three daughters, Mrs. H. Lee Smith, Mrs. C. V. Everett, Dallas, Texas; Mrs. C. H. Holt, Princeton, N. C.; three sons, Press Huddleston, Allen Huddleston, and Hub Huddleston; grandchild, Muggsy Smith, Miss Louise Huddleston, Mrs. Marvin Cannon, W. C. Huddleston, Los Angeles, Cal.; Miss Margaret Huddleston, Miss Evelyn Huddleston, Miss Emma Huddleston, Hub Huddleston, Jr., Mrs. C. G. Tyndall, and Mrs. Frank Tarelton, both of Dallas, Texas; A. B. Ewing and Everitt Little and Roy Little. Pallbearers will be H. L. Tutwiler, W. K. Steedman, Walter H. Grant, Jesse W. Armistead, R. J. Hudson, and J.
