DEATH OF MRS. J. P. PINNELL
An Estimable Lady Expired Yesterday Morning. Mrs. J.P. Pinnell, aged fifty
years, a lady well known in the city, died yesterday morning at 11 o'clock at
the residence of her husband J. P. Pinnell, 13 Twelfth street. Her death was not
entirely unexpected, as her condition had been very serious during the last few
days.
She is survived by her husband and five children. She was a consistent Christian
and was loved by all who knew her. Funeral services will be conducted this
afternoon at 3 o'clock at the residence and interment will occur at Peachtree
cemetery.

Amanda C. Pinnell (24 May
1849 - 04 Jul 1899) was buried in the Peachtree Baptist Churchyard. It is at the
Southwest intersection of Briarcliff and LaVista Roads, in Decatur, DeKalb
County. Other Pinnells buried there are Artie C. (16 Sep 1881 - 29 May 1903),
Davie E. (20 Oct. 1866 - 01 Jan 1899), James L. (27 Apr 1868 - 11 Feb 1904),
Letus S. (21 Jan 1842 - 31 July 1903), W. M. (1844 - 11 Jan 1908).
