…This cemetery is located off of Georgia Hwy #150 in Columbia County Georgia . The cemetery is near the Old Bailey Home site. Accessibility is through private property owned by Pollard Lumber Co.

Notes: The cemetery is indicative of a family of means. It is surrounded by an "ornate brick wall". Part of a cast iron gate remains. A section of wall has an indention for a marble nameplate, now missing. The only readable marker at this time is the small marble obelisk listed above. There are numerous pieces of gravestones and evidence of above ground vaults. The area is in need of repair. Other family members who may be buried at the site are, Mrs. E.T. Bailey, Mrs. Mary J. Bailey, Mary Bailey and John Bailey. These names are from fragments of stones and the 1880 U.S. Census for this household.
