My name is Jean Yontz and I am the new Executive Director for the Rockdale Medical Center Foundation. I am researching the connection between Callaway and the land that Rockdale Medical Center is located on. I understand that the land was owned and donated by the Callaways ..... Your website is incredible and a treasure to, and for, those who are intimately connected to Milstead. I have gained a wealth of knowledge in a short time thanks to your commitment and dedication to this project.

Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I did extensive research on Callaway and found most of the things I needed.

I did locate most of the names of the people originally involved and those that are still living in the Conyers area or those whose relatives are still iving in the Conyers area.

We are having our Grand Opening for the East Tower the first week of December. I hope you will be able to come and see our beautiful new building. What a legacy that has been left by those hard working mill people who dedicated their time, money and hearts to build a hospital for Conyers.

I was overwhelmed while doing my research at the commitment from this community to get this hospital built. And, I was surprised at how many people are still living here or their relatives. The Medical Center is truly built with a labor of love.
