'You probably know the history but for the record:
Nell is Mama Shaw's youngest sister (half sister). (daughter of
Charles and Mattie Wilkerson). You know Mama Shaw's mother,
Eula Wilkerson) died at age 29 when Lillian was 9,
Jessie was 7 and Ruby was only 1. Pa Wilkerson later
married Matttie who had one daughter, Inez. Together
they had three daughters and one son, Winnie, Madeline
(called Pat), Lawrence (called Bud,) and Nellie
(called Nell) .
Bob and Nell are the parents of 4 daughters; Bobbie Nell
(who died with cancer a few years ago. You went to the funeral with
me.) Billie, Lisa and Renee (twin girls) . They had a
still
born son. Charles conducted Bob's funeral (in 1982 or 3 while he was
pastor of Forest Park U.M.C. I conducted Nell's funeral in 1992
while I was pastor of Grantville U.M.C.'
