Georgia Citizenship Granted

Between 1836 and 1845, the Georgia Legislature passed some private laws that "granted the rights and privileges of [Georgia] Citizenship to certain persons, and their descendants of the Cherokee tribe…" The private acts further made the individuals named to "be liable to perform all and singular the duties of citizens to Georgia."
