Will be sold before the court-house door, in the town of Fairburn, Campbell county, Georgia, on the first Tuesday in April, 1879, between the legal hours of sales, the following property, to-wit: House and lot in the town of Palmetto, Georgia, being described and bounded as follows to-wit:
Situate, lying and being in the town of Palmetto, bounded on
the north by L. H. Griffith's lands, on the east by the right of
way of Atlanta and West Point Railroad Company, on the south by
Robt. Jackson's residence, and on the west by the Public Road leading
from Palmetto to Campbellton, containing one acre, more or less,
being part of lot of land No. 68, originally Coweta, now Campbell
county. Levied on as the property of S. R. Carlton, by virtue of
and to satisfy four Justice Court fi. fas. issued from the Justice
Court of the 652nd district, G. M. of said county, in favor of J.
J. Pearce vs. S. R. Carlton and J. C. C. Carlton. Levied on as the
property of S. R. Carlton. Tenants in possession notified. Levy
made by E. L. Jackson, L. C. and handed to me, March 8, 1879.
