Blissett, Nancy & William Harper
William Harper married Nancy Blissett in Butts County in 1826. He was made guardian of her siblings during the settling of her father Elisha Blissit's estate. I find them on the 1830 and 1840 Butts County census but have not located the family again. The last mention of William was in some property that he received in 1842 after settlement of the estate. Thanks for any help.

GLASS, Charlie
I am trying to find out if Charles Glass was acquitted for the murder of Negro Lewis Ryal or Ryals at Indian Springs. The court case was supposed to be heard by a Judge Bailey in August 1891. The murder occurred around June 1891. I'm doing research for a book and believe that Charlie Glass came from Georgia to a desolate ranch in Utah to continue his life after being put in jail and accused of murder in Butts County. I cannot find out if he escaped jail under Sheriff Beauchamp or if he was acquitted by Judge Bailey for the murder. I have searched the 1890's on the website and only found the mention of his arrest. Ed Crawford was apparently an accomplice. I believe four men in all were accused of the murder from what I've read, but I've not been able to find any more detail.

Tanner, Zilpha
I'm trying to make connections, but have hit a "Brick Wall"! My gggrandfather, William Lewis was married to a Zilpha Tanner. However I am having trouble verifying exactly who she was. When they died, both were living in Santa Rosa Co., Florida. In a book of civil records, supposedly in Camden County Inferior Court, Andrew A. Barnes was appointed guardian of Fleming P., Simon A. and Zilpha. Their mother, Celia Barnes, giving her consent. This in states that John Tanner was deceased. By this I'm assuming he was married to Celia ? and is the father of these children. Thank you for any and all help.
