The Williams Family Cemetery is located in Quintette. It is a small cemetery that was started in 1967 by Robert Lee Williams on hiw own land for his family and other Black families in the area.

Directions: US 29 north past Cantonment about 2.75 miles. Cemetery is on the left at CR184. Contact Robert Lee Williams, (850)968-2343.

There is another cemetery adjoining the Williams Cemetery with 4 or 5 graves. Rt. Robert Williams did not know a contact person for this cemetery; it is possibly Asian.

The Williams Family Cemetery was surveyed in March 1985 by Evan Strohl, Erin Callaway, and other members of the West Florida Genealogical Society (WFGS). The results of this survey were published by WFGS in June 1988 as Volume Two, Gravestone Registry, Escambia County, Fla. Since the publication is no longer in print, the list of gravesites on this page has been transcribed from the publication and contributed to the Escambia County USGenWeb site with permission of the WFGS Board of Directors.
