Our joint purposes are to promote public interest in:

u Preservation and the study of the history and pioneers of-

      u Participate in and support of community events and displays that portray the history of-

u Publication of or support for the publication of historical or genealogical subjects of-

St. Lucie County and the East Coast of Florida.

In preparation of the Saint Lucie County 100th Anniversary, we are searching for historical and/or genealogical artifacts, photos, old letters, and family histories.  We hope that you will help us keep history alive in St. Lucie County.  A goal of the St. Lucie Historical Society is to publish writings with local historical value. In order to have these publications ready for the celebration in 2005, we must begin now to gather these materials from generous contributors.
