Roots & Branches Genealogical Society, Serving DeLand, Deltona, Orange City, Debary, Enterprise, Osteen, Pierson and Seville was formed in 1986, with the goal to assist and exchange information concerning genealogy.

We publish an informative newsletter and invite guest speakers to share their knowledge on specific topics of interest. Society members staff the Genealogy and Local History room at the local DeLand public library on the second floor. Other projects are digitizing the Dauphne Brownell Collection for preservation and sharing with the Historical Society, maintaining an indexed collection of obituaries from the Deland Beacon and News-Journal.
We meet on the
third Sunday of every month (except July and August) in the
auditorium of the DeLand public library.
Our Membership year is January through December. Individual / Family
