Subj: Stories about Marianna People
From: [email protected]  (Gray, June)

Hi Betty, I just found you fabulous page and I am so excited. I am just wondering why my name isn't on your "famous" list...ha ha. I used to tap dance in the mistrel shows in Marianna back in the 40's. Course I am just kidding you about me being famous, but I just love Marianna, my home town.

We (my Mother Blanche Quattlebaum Peel and my brother Arnett Peel) lived just down the street from Bobby Goldsboro in Aaron Cohns apartments on Jefferson Street (I believe that was the street) and I still talk with Bobby's Mom in Dothan, Al as my husband Charlie Gray is from Dothan and my Dad Sam Peel also lived in Dothan, Al till he passed away. I am 65 yrs old and still working with the Fla. Dept. of Law Enforcement Crime Lab for 34 1/2 yrs and I still TAP DANCE with a group of Senior Citizen's in shows here and in Apalachicola, Fla where my daughter Pam Nobles has a dance studio.
