The Russ House 2000

In the grant application the Chamber said this house would benefit the public as one of the points in their favor that would qualify them for such a grant:

"The Russ House will be accessible to a cross section of residents and visitors to Marianna. Historic exhibits and displays will be open to the public. In addition, the 4th grade from Riverside Elementary will include an annual field trip to the restored Russ House as part ot their study of Florida history. This tour will provide a look at part of their city's history and will provide knowledge and appreciation of historic preservation."
