1 Moses GUYTON married (1) Anne  Beman RUSS. (Anna Beman Russ was the daughter of Joseph W.Russ and Mary Williams Beman and the granddaughter of Henry D. Beman and Caroline Frances Myrick)

(Mary Beman Russ's stepfather was John Gorrie of the John Gorrie Museum in Appalachicola.....the man credited with discovering refridgeration which led to the developement of air conditioning. He was her mother's (Caroline Frances Myrick) second husband.)

2 Mary Beman GUYTON, born on 12 Nov 1874; died on 29 May 1907 at Columbus, Georgia.

She married (1) William Heard KILPATRICK on 27 Dec 1898 at Marianna, Florida. William, born

on 20 Nov 1871 at White Plains, Georgia; died on 15 Feb 1965 at New York, New York; buried at

White Plains, Georgia.

Children:

+ 3 F i Margaret Louise KILPATRICK.

4 M ii William Heard KILPATRICK, born on 1 Jan 1903; died on 7 Jan 1903.

5 M iii infant son KILPATRICK, born on 28 Jan 1907; died on 28 Jan 1907.

I'll copy and send to you all the info as soon as possible.Theres a lot of info including a little on all the wives above.The book was first printed in 1941 and has been reprinted many times.I think I got this copy for christmas a few years ago.About 2/3 of the book is a general history of Laurens Co., GA and the remainder is indiviual family histories submitted by the families themselves.There wont be any charge.A lot of people have mailed things to me at no charge.However because of work it may be a few days before I can get copies made.Anything else you want to know in the meantime just yell!!
