    (1) Frances E. Davis, b. abt. 1835, on March 12, 1862 in Lafayette County, Florida.
    Children:
        Lizzie Cannon, b. 1865, married a Thomas
        William J. Cannon, b. 1866, d. 1924.
            Married Henrietta Lemontine
                        Georgia Ann Evaline Townsend.
        James Cannon, b. 1870

    (2) Amanda M. Davis, b. abt. 1848, on June 9, 1870 in Lafayette County.
    Children :
        Martha Cannon, b. 1872 married J. Allan Hart.  She died June 9, 1898 and is buried at Rock Sink
             Baptist Church Cemetery in Dixie Co.,

        Jane Cannon, b. 1874, married a Hodge
        Samuel Cannon, b. March 17, 1876, married Maddie Lee
        Abe Cannon, b. January 10, 1879, died August 23, 1942
            Married Annie M. Thompson

    (3) Rafaella Sanchez, b. 1844, on September 04, 1881.
    Children:
        Berry Cannon, b. August, 1881, married
            (1) Eula ?.
            (2) Sally (Hodge) Harris (Widow of John W. Harris).
            (3) Maud Landrum.

Henry G.W. Cannon, b. September, 1886.  Never married.

Frances and Amanda were sisters, daughters of James and Fanny Davis of Lafayette County.  Listed on the 1860 Lafayette County Census Records.

Rafaella Sanchez was the daughter of George W. Sanchez.

John Cannon died about 1896.  Ralph Bradley obtained information from his grandmother, Sara Ellen, that John Cannon is buried in Fayetteville Cemetery in what is now Dixie County near fence on East side of Cemetery. The gravesite is now marked. 

Cannon was a cattleman and ranged his cattle from one side of the Suwannee to the other from what is now Gilchrist to what was then Lafayette County.  His land patent in Gilchrist County is listed on the 1882-1883 page.

His widow, Lafila(Rafella), is buried near her son Frank Sanchez in the Hunt Cemetery near Branford, Fl.
