TILLMAN,
ZETROUER posted by Sue
Wooten on Sunday, June 1, 1997

I am researching my husband's family. John Robert ZETROUER moved to Alachua
Co, FL from Effingham Co, GA ca 1832. He and his wife Eliza REMSHART had
13 children Their daughter Caroline Elizabeth married William Dixon TILLMAN
in Alachua co prior to 1860. William dixon TILLMAN is the son of Daniel
McDonald TILLMAN and Elizabeth DIXON. He was born in Lancaster Co, SC in
1827. I am not sure if his parents lived in Alachua County. Frances Elizabeth
Tillman married Royal Leondis JONES in Alachua Co on 20 April 1887. Royal
Jones was the son of Gray J JONES and Sarah Elizabeth DENT and was born
in Franklin Co, NC. Caroline (Lina) Jones married Frank ROBINSON in Alachua
Co on 9 November 1909. We believe Frank Robinson was from Ludowici, Long
Co, GA. When their daughter Lina Mabel Robinson was born in 1909 and Caroline
died 3 days later, Frank Robinson left her with her inlaws Royal and Frances
Jones and went back to GA. We believe he died in the late 1920's.

I am looking for info on the KITLER or KITTLER family, also BROWNING and
AULT. Any info on Joseph Kittler married to Wealthy Browning, would be
greatly appreciated!! They had a son George or William Kitler, born 12
dec,1862 in Alachua county. George (William) married Sallie Mae Ault 10
aug,1882.Her Father was Richard Ault married to Harriet Crosby. We think
Richard was a full Blooded Indian. All property was in Harriet's name,
Richard was also listed as a scout for the army. We were told that he changed
his name to avoid persecution.

William SPARKMAN, born 1768, NC, early settler of Alachua Cty, 1820s. I
show him married to Elizabeth HUDSON, Sarah SURRY, and maybe Sarah CHANCEY.
If anyone has a cemetary listing with any of these people's birthdates,
death dates, or marriages, I greatly appreciate the information. I haven't
figured out if there were two Sarahs or just one, with the last name mixed
up. Thanks.
