Will of Lewis March 4th December 1660

 

In the name of God Amen I Lewis March of Ruanlanihorne in the County of Cornwall yeoman being sick and weak in body but of perfect mynde and memory praised be God doe hereby revoke All former wills by mee made And doe hereby make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and forme following First I resigne up my Soul unto the hands of Almighty God my Creator and unto the hands of Jesus Christ my most gratious and merryfull Redeemer hopeing after this fraile Tabernacle of my body shalbe laid in the grave to incoy through his meritts & joyfull resurrection att the last day

I give and bequeath unto the poore of the parish of St. Austell Tenn shillings

To the poore of the parish of Ruanlanihorne Six shillings and Eight pence

And to the poore of the parish of Filly Five shillings

Alsoe I give to Thomas Henwoods children Twenty shillings to each

To Thomas Quicks children Twenty shillings to each

To William Buzes children Twenty shillings to each

To Thomas Hicks children Twenty shillings to each

To Margrett the Daughter of John Hall Fifty pounds

To Nicholas John Forty shillings

And to John Halls children Twenty shillings to each

All the rest of my goods and Chattells I give to Margarett March my deare and loving wife whom I doe make and ordaine my whole and sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament

Witnes my hand and seale the First day of May One Thousand Six hundred and Sixty

Probatum fuit Testamentum suprascriptum apud London Quarto die mensis Decembris Anno Dni Millimo Sexcentesimo Sexagisimo coram venti viro Willmo Meyrick legum Doctore curie prerogative Court Magro Custodi siue comito litune constitute Invemento Margarete March Relicte Ded Defuncti et Extritis in humoi Testo moiat qui comissa fuit Administrato omnium et singulorum bonorium Jurum et creditorum Ditd Defuncti de bene et fideliter adminstrand eadem Ad sancta die Evangelia vigore comissionis Jurat
