Henry Crocker Will 2nd January 1664

 

In the name of God Amen.  I Henry Crocker of the parish of Ruan in the County of Cornwall yeoman being sicke in body but perfect in memory doe make & ordayne this my last will & testament in mannor & forme following Imininis I bequeath my soule to Almighty God my creator & redeemer my body to the grave Item I give & bequeath unto Richard my sonne …. pounds to be payed unto him out of one bill of forty pounds owed unto mee att our Lady Day next or there about  Item I give & bequeath unto Parkin my sonne eight pounds to be payed to him out of the Money  doue owe the aforesaid bill of forty pounds which said bill of forty pounds is doue unto mee from Richard Lawrey of the parish of Veryan & Countey aforesaid  Item I give and bequeath unto Elizabeth Hill my daughter the summe of twenty pounds to be payed unto her att the end of two years after my decease provided allwayes and my desire is that at the time of the payment of the said twenty pounds there be good  lawfull & valuable security given to my executor here after named by the partidy … the same for the true payment of the aforesaid summ unto Richard Hill my Grandchild when he shall accomplish the age of one and twintey years Item I give and bequeath unto Margrett my daughter thirtey pounds & twenty where of resideue of the aforesaid bill of forty pound and  the other four pound doue unto mee from the aforesaid Richard Lawrey without …. by all the residue of my goods and chattels not hereby given and bequeathed I give and bequeath unto Henery my sonne whome I make my whole and sole executor of this my last will and testament to see my debts and legaces payd and to performe my funeral rights In witness where of I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the eight Day of December 1662
