Will of Theodore Budd dated 20th January 1900
I appoint Mr A Poynder to be my Sole Executor.
I appoint the same A. Poynder & Fredk Page to be Trustees of my property.
I appoint them to bestow a sum varying from 500 £ to 700 £ in completing
improving cancelling the later to give of books which I bought from Messrs Bull
& Aurach of 34 Arch St. Bloomsbury.
I desire them to hire furnish & fit up a place for the reception of the books
for the benefit of some than & benevolent institution as they may deem fit.
I bequeath to my servant Jane Remington 10 £.
The residue of my estate is to be distributed amongst my relatives.
I give power to my executors to pay my funeral & testamentary expenses.

In Her Majesty’s High Court of Justice
BE IT KNOWN, that The Reverend Theodore Budd of Briningham in the County of
Norfolk Clerk died on the 22nd day of January 1900 at Briningham
aforesaid
AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN, that at the date hereunto written the last Will and
Testament (a copy whereof is hereunto annexed) of the said deceased, was proved
and registered in the Principal Probate Registry of Her Majesty’s High Court of
Justice, and that Administration of all the estate which by law devolves to and
vests in the personal representative of the said deceased was granted by the
aforesaid Court to Alfred Poynder the sole Executor named in the said Will.
And it is hereby certified that an Affidavit for Inland Revenue has been
delivered wherein it is shown that the gross value of the said estate within the
United Kingdom (exclusive of what the said deceased may have been possessed of
or entitled to as a trustee and not beneficially) amounts to £2691.17.10
And it is further certified that it appears by a Receipt signed by a Inland
Revenue Officer on the said Affidavit that £75.11.0 for Estate Duty and interest
on such duty has been paid, the duty being charged at the rate of £3 per cent.
