Eastville
Note: Eastville is NOT an ancient parish of Lincolnshire. It was established as a parish in 1812.
Eastville is a parish and village 12 miles north-east of Boston, 6 miles south of Spilsby and about 116 miles north of London. Friskney parish lies to the east. The parish covers about 2,750 acres. The parish includes the hamlet of "New Leake".
The village of Eastville lies in the Fens. If you are planning a visit:
- Take the A16 trunk road north out of Boston. Turn right at Stickney and drive east about 3 miles to Eastville village.

- The Anglican parish church is dedicated to Saint Paul (some sources give St. Luke as the name).
- The church was built in 1840.
- The church seats 120.
- A Mission Hall was built here in 1897, associated with the church.

- The Anglican parish register dates from 1840, when the church was dedicated.
- The parish register has not been deposited in the Lincoln Archives.
- The Lincolnshire FHS has published several marriage indexes and a burial index for the Bolingbroke Deanery to make your search easier.

- For many centuries, Eastville was only a township in the East Fen. It was established as a parish in 1812.
- The parish was in the East division of the ancient Bolingbroke Wapentake in the East Lindsey district in the parts of Lindsey.
- The parish was also in the Bolingbroke Soke.

- As a result of the 1834 Poor Law Amendment Act, the parish became part of the Spilsby Poor Law Union.
- Bastardy cases would be heard in the Spilsby petty session hearings every other Monday.

- A Board School was erected in New Leake in 1890 to hold up to 160 children. This school was part of the United School Board District of Leake, which formed in 1881.
- The local Council School was built in 1897 for 80 children.
