Wednesday 3rd Sept 1834 : AWFULLY SUDDEN DEATH - As Thomas Durham, labourer, of Rosliston, in this county, was proceeding along the village on Monday last with a wheelbarrow, he suddenly fell down and instantly expired.

Wednesday 23rd January 1839 : On Tuesday the 15th Instant, at Rosliston, in this county, by the Rev. J.M. Dunn, curate, Mr Thomas Whittingham of that place farmer, to Elizabeth, third daughter of the late Mr John Hopkins, of Shilton Fields and Ansty Wood Farms, near Coventry.

Wednesday 24th April 1839 : On the 9th Instant, at Eccleshall, by the Rev. H. Morre Mr Harding, Rosliston near Burton-upon-Trent, to Sarah, youngest daughter of the late John Wright, Esq. of Tattenhall, Cheshire.

James Sutton curate of Rosliston, Derbyshire, to Dorothy Henrietta, eldest surviving daughter of Thomas J Bryan Esq., Lyddington House, Rutlandshire, and granddaughter of the late Robert Haymes Esq., of Great Glen, in the county of Leicestershire.

Friday 2nd March 1900 : At Rosliston Vicarage, Burton-upon-Trent, on Sunday 18th February, Mary Hampson Seddon, only surviving daughter of the late William Seddon of Manchester, Solicitor, aged 79.
