St. Catherine's is now a chapel of Westonbirt School. There is a nave with North aisle and South porch, a South tower, and chancel with North aisle. The lower stage of the tower is 14th Century with diagonal buttresses. The taller upper stage is in the Perpendicular style with embattled parapet and gargoyles. The North-west stair-turret is crowned with a stumpy spirelet. The font has a Perpendicular style octagonal bowl with quatrefoils on each face. That bowl is mounted on a thin panelled stem.
There is stained glass in the church by G. Maile & Son. Ltd. The recumbent alabaster effigy is to Robert Stayner Holford who died in 1892. Near the church is the very grand Westonbirt House, which is now a school for girls. It is the most important surviving domestic building by Lewis Vulliamy and was built between 1864-74 for Robert Stayner Holford, founder of the Westonbirt Arboretum.
