St. Cyr's Church has an embattled Perpendicular style West tower with a North East turret. The rest of the church was rebuilt in 1854 by Henry Crisp - once again in the Perpendicular style. The church consists of a nave, North and South aisles of five bays, a chancel and chapels.
The main East window behind the altar is by Wailes. The contemporary window in the sanctuary is by Payne and was installed in 1965.
The monument to Samuel Spencer, who died in 1790, is by Franklin. The Stroudwater Canal is to the South of the church. Much renovation work is being undertaken to this canal between here and Stroud.
